Why Haiti?

Haiti’s infant mortality rate is 12% (ten times higher than the US)? Many Haitian parents can’t afford to raise their children and choose to leave them at a local orphanage, or crèche, for basic care and ultimately adoption? There are an estimated 1.2 million orphans in Haiti.Haiti has an interesting history and rich culture.The in-country stay for adoption is 3-5 days. Single women can adopt.
