No updates yet...

I haven't received an official update and it appears we are not getting photo updates for May. :o(. I so look forward to those photos to keep connected to the girls. Hoping news comes soon.

This is a photo taken in Nov. '08, the first time I met S & C.

Last night, for the first time in months, I was able to join my agency's chat. I signed off wishing I had missed it. The tone of the entire chat was somber. The process in Haiti is taking longer than anyone dreamed. At the rate everything is moving now, it could be another year- or more- before the girls are finally home. AND there is NOTHING we can do to speed up the process. Nothing aside from pray harder. Praying and believing mountains will be moved!
Mark 11:23 "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"

  1. Love that verse from Mark! God WILL move the mountains standing in our way, and it will be PERFECT when He does!

(I think I found your blog from Katy's. Your girls are beautiful! I don't know your little one, but I remember C is such a ham!)

  2. So sorry your first chat was that one, Suzanne...it was so depressing. Please come back! It isn't usually THAT bad... There are just NO nice words to describe this process...I pray that God steps in and MOVES things soon....we need our babies.
